Edwin was established in 1947 in Japan by Mr Tsunemi. His main passion was for denim he was inspired to import them directly to the United States.
It was in 1963 that Edwin produced the first heaviest weight in denim at 16oz, this also featured the three colour rainbow selvedge that is still used today.
Back in the 1980's Edwin revolutionised the denim industry by introducing the 'stone washed' denim, which all denim companies have used since.
